Wherever you ski, "the view" is always in front of you and it's been described as the most beautiful scenery this side of the Italian Alps. With over 300 days of sunshine each year, Durango Mountain Ski Resort, formerly known as Purgatory, is consistently rated as having the best weather of any ski area in North America.
Situated atop the Continental Divide in southern Colorado, Wolf Creek is a high alpine ski resort, 10,300 feet at the base and 11,900 feet at the summit. While Wolf Creek offers something for everyone, there is a great ungroomed, exploratory outback area (300 acres of open powder skiing) recommended for strong intermediates and expert skiers who enjoy varying conditions and adventuresome skiing.
From the moment you first set foot in the town of Durango, you know that the old West is still ridin' high. It's the home of the famous Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad which runs daily during the winter months along the breathtakingly beautiful Cascade Canyon. The Strater Hotel is located on historic Main Street in downtown Durango. Walk to shops and entertainment. Rooms are decorated in an Antique Victorian style.
This great trip is set for 20 people, so be sure to get your name and deposit
in early.
