The Lafayette Ski & Snowboard Club
We are a not-for-profit, volunteer community organization based in Tippecanoe County, Indiana to offer its members the opportunity to ski with others of similar interest and ability (we have beginner, intermediate, and expert skiers - and even non-skiers). One of our main goals is to provide the best skiing ... to the most people ... at the lowest price ... every winter.
MEETINGS
Regular meetings are at 7pm on the first Wednesday of the month September through May at Sgt. Preston's of the North (6 North 2nd Street; Lafayette Indiana)
Each year the September Meeting is our season kickoff. We announce our trip plans and it is the first opportunity to sign up for a trip. Expect a crowd, good company and appetizers.
During the summer months we have announced activities and get-togethers. On meeting nights (1st Wednesday in June, July & August) we gather at a local restaurant to socialize. Time & location will be announced in advance.

We are also members of the Indiana Ski Council (ISC), the Chicago Metro Ski Council (CMSC), and the Ohio Valley Ski Council (OVSC). This means we obtain group discount for our trips and our members may participate in the ISC Cup Racing Series and ski with member clubs without separately joining them.
When we are not skiing, we keep ourselves involved year round with a plethora of other activities.

We do all of the planning and organizing of our events with volunteer chairpersons. Volunteers publish our monthly newsletter: The First Run, to keep members informed. All you have to do is show up!

You can get as involved as much you want. Plan an event. Run a trip. Be a chairperson or committee member. Serve as an officer or board member. Getting involved is easy, and the rewards are great.
