Summer Dining Series:
We will meet for dinner at 7:00 PM on each of the following first Wednesdays this summer. The itinerary is as follows:
Wednesday, June 5: We will kick off our summer outdoor dining series at Lafayette Brewing Co. at 622 Main St. https://lafbrew.com/
Wednesday, July 3: Restaurant #2 will be at Town and Gown Bistro, located at 119 N. River Road. Bonus: most of the outdoor seating here is in the shade.
Wednesday, August 7: Restaurant #3 will be at La Hacienda de Sol, located at 140 Howard Ave. This has been popular among our club in recent years, and this year shouldn’t be an exception. https://www.lahaciendaelsol.com/
Lafayette Aviators baseball: We will be planning a club outing to an Aviators home baseball game in June. This will be the last year of Loeb Stadium’s existence, so if you’d like to see a game there, time is running out.
Here is the June home schedule. All games begin at 7:05 PM unless otherwise indicated. The following dates are home games: Wed. June 6-Sat., June 9; Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14; Tuesday, June 18; Thursday, June 20-Sunday, June 23 (3:05 on Sunday); Tuesday, June 25 (1:05); Thursday, June 27;Saturday, June 29-Sunday, June 30 (3:05 Sunday).
